i havent been able to read the books yet, or the comics, so of course there goes a lot of info, but...

the toa hordika: theyre VAKAMA hordika, NOKAMA hordika, etc. when did they become HORDIKA? because in the movie (and i know this gets out a lot of plot, esp. since you cant have everything in there) they go straight from matoran to toa to turaga. was it while they were toa, and then after they become hordika they finally are able to change back to toa? im confused. please explain.
(and i dont care about spoilers, i just want to know)

It happens sometime after they become toa but before they become turaga.

They return to Metru Nui to rescue the matoran who've all been captured and cocooned by the Visorak. During the rescue they are all captured and cocooned as well. During their time in the cocoons, they start transforming slowly into rahi-beasts.

The Toa are saved by the Rahaga, who help them to reign in their beast nature and remember who and what they truly are, heroes.

Supposedly, they have to find a way to return to their former selves before the rahi nature takes over completely else they'll be beasts forever.

wait... so...

1. they become toa
2. the matoran are captured
3. they take some of the matoran to mata nui, wherein they become turaga because they gave up their power to bring them back online/to-life.

so BEFORE awakening the matoran on mata nui and AFTER they fight makuta, they go back to save the rest? and, they fail, and then after changing into the hordika and (obviously) back again into toa, they go back to mata nui and give up their powers and become turaga?

if thats the case, i get it now. thank you so much!

I have this bionicle (I just got back into the hobby of building them after finding one buried in my closet)and it has these black shovel like claws and when I push a lever on it's back it's head goes foward.

Could you please tell me what it is and some stuff about it?

Also what are the little rubber mask thingys and what do they do?

Thanx

Is this the 'the last few lines of Bionicle pissed me off so I haven't payed attention since forever so can someone get me back up to speed since Voya Nui's storyline actually looks interesting' thread?

Because if so, I stopped paying -a lot of- attention to Bionicle ever since I found out the main villain of the Toa Metru was apparently a giant evil weed that lived in flames. I mean, I still read the comics and all that since they came free in the mail, but I totally didn't buy too many sets or those novels since the point at which they decided to screw around with the Tohunga design. And Vakama-- why did they give him eyebrows? *sigh*

Anyway.
Just tell me enough that I need to know to not be confused when I get back into Voya Nui. If it's too much, never mind, I wouldn't want to trouble anyone who had a tantrum over the series when the Bohrok-kal came about.

/elitist Bionicle fan, but in a whole different manner.
